avatarI've boarded my dogs here and have had them groomed and trained here. Mary and staff are wonderful. The dog runs are large and they're always given play time in a safe, fenced in location so they don't stay penned up all the time.

I also know Mary relates to the dogs and pays attention to them. If something concerns her, she'll alert me. For instance, she observed recently that one of my dogs was drinking A LOT of water while he was there for several days. She told me her concern that he should be tested for diabetes. I appreciate and trust that the dogs are in a safe and comfortable place when they're there with her.

In addition to boarding, grooming and training, they also have doggy day care. I highly recommend Animal Watchers.

avatarWe love taking our dog here. The staff are friendly, price of the boarding and extra activities are affordable. I feel good that our dog's having fun too while we are gone on our mini vacations. The only thing we don't like is their drop off and pick up time. Other than that, I would totally recommend them. 🙂

I have a little female Doxie mix who wasn’t very confident, was timid, fearful
of new things, and would NOT pee in the area of other dogs. I was determined
that my dog would get over her issues, but how?

I consulted a behaviorist who recommended two things: new experiences and exposure to dogs.
So, I enrolled her in Ms. Watcher’s agility training class. The agility training
really helped build her confidence and she approaches new situations with a
little more gusto and gumption now. She is definitely much braver and her issues
have been significantly reduced. I also learned a lot about the proper way to
lead my dog on the leash during the training and the training helped to
reinforce obedience training. My dog now realizes she can do a lot more than she
thought she could like traversing that A-Frame which is WAY bigger than she is
and getting across the wobble board alive. The class really helped change her
into a much more confident dog, which I’m sure will make her happier in the
coming years. I was also impressed with the training area; there are a lot of
different types of equipment and the area is covered. Ms. Watcher’s technique
of gradually introducing dogs to obstacles and then increasing the level of
difficulty after the dog becomes accustomed to the obstacle helps the dogs learn
without becoming fearful of the obstacle.

Mary is our angel. We brought our 8 month old puppy to her in fear of not having any control over him. We knew that this was going to have to be training for both my husband and myself, as well as for our puppy. Mary showed us basic commands and things we needed to do. She was in control-and knew exactly what she was doing. We left our first session with the confidence we needed. And am happy to report that our little brat has turned into a wonderful, happy, and calmer part of the family. Mary gets all the credit though. Without her teachings–we would still be living with a brat. Give her a try…she is wonderful!!!

We’ve been customers of Animal Watchers for the last 4 years, and our 3 dogs are always treated very well when they come here. I appreciate all the TLC that the dogs get, and  so do they! Thanks for providing a great place for the pooches!

We have boarded our 2 golden retrievers Max and Mia with Mary for about 3 1/2 years. They are as happy and excited when we drop them off as when we pick them up. They receive playtime outside of their dog run. Our two kids share a kennel together which is a big benefit to Max and Mia. We think Mary, her husband and the rest of the staff truly care for Max and Mia. They really get to know your animals. We recommend them to anyone we talk to with a pet. Our daughter has boarded her 3 dogs with them also. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I have boarded my puppy here many times and also taken the dock diving class and I love it! My dog gets quite excited to see Mary and she and her husband are wonderful. Will be sad to leave AZ and I know Ellie will be too!

Animal Watchers is a great facility ! Mary is a real dog person who has helped us with a difficult dog…we’d recommend her over any other kennel in this area…our dogs look forward to staying there for they get such individual attention…the kennel is clean, and our dogs are well cared for…

Wonderful place…I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my Dogs.  We travel a lot for dog shows and I always board my one dog that’s left behind with Animal Watchers boarding facility.  The place is clean and well organized.  The staff is top notch.  My dog/dogs always come home relaxed and they look they had wonderful care while staying with Animal Watchers.
The training that my dogs and I have had has  been excellent.  I couldn’t be more impressed as to how far my dogs have gone with Agility in a  very short amount of time.  I couldn’t recommend another boarding or training facility in Sierra Vista.  They’re conveniently located on the way out of town.

Since moving to this area in 2008 I’ve boarded my dogs here many times, the rates are reasonable, and the facility is very conveniently located too continue to I-10.
But the important thing is the care my dog’s receive.  The facility is clean and climate controled, they get time in the play areas everyday, and walks, swimming, or personalized exercise sessions are available.
I’ve never worried about my boy’s when they stay with Mary, I know from experience that she will not hesitate too contact me if she notices anything unusual in their behavior or physical condition.
